Google I/O 2010 Keynote - HTML5
Finally, I completed the 1st part of the keynote. This session is really focused on HTML5.
Chrome will have a fully support of HTML5. Mainly, Chrome will be as an interface between web apps to local computer resources via HTML5. In this way, the web apps can directly play video, local cache resources, even some worker threads.
If everything will happen, we can watch video without using Flash. And some web apps can work offline as well via local cache. Hey, there is another interesting point, they pointed Web GL is on the way. SO, 3D rendering can directly access GPU! That is cool. I will be continue to watch the video clips and bring more information up this blog.
Google I/O 2010
Google I/O for this year has started. I think this year their focus will be in Android,HTML5 and Chrome. By the way, Google put the keynote on YouTube. I started to watch it, but that is about 2 hours length.....
HTC 4G EVO
I read the article from eWeek. This is about the latest HTC Android Phone. For hardware, that is very high-end, 1Ghz Snapdragon CPU and 8-megapixel camera. But its appearance, that is a bit boring, it looks too similar with HD2!
Google's New Look
Today, I found Google has a new brand search result. I love the new side bar. It has the basic features for switching the results pages to News, Images , Maps, etc. Moreover, it can do the refining your search results.
The new feature I love most is the related searches feature. In the most cases, we cannot find the result which we want. We needs some extra keywords for refining our results. The related searches feature can help us. For example, I just entered "google". But that is too board. The relates search feature will suggest the related keywords, such as "Google Map", "Google Books". That may help if I want to find "Google Map".
In addition, there is a feature calls "wonder wheel". That is a prefect presentation for showing the relationship between keywords.
(Actually, that looks like a relationship network which in the lecture notes for a web intelligence subject).
Blogger Client - BlogAway
Perviously, I used AndroBlogger to access my Blogger account from my HTC Magic, but its features are very basic, and lack of supporting mutli-blogs. Recently, I changed to use Blogaway, although the user can only make a new post the blog which is the most recently updated, it can view all the blogs under your blogger accounts. AndroBlogger only can view the blog which is the most recently updated. In addition, Blogaway got a lot of functions. It supports Label and add pictures from the photo library in your phone. Moreover, it said it can do geo-tagging as well! Well, I have not tried this feature. I don't want the whole world know where I am. Besides, it got a "Fav Blogs" button, which can list the posts from those blogs you are following. That is a good blogger client, I think you should download it from Android Market!
