I found there is Skype Mobile for Android. I tried to enter my mobile in the webpage. Yes, they sent sms contains the download link. But the download link is refered to 3 Australia and it said Skype Mobile is not available for my Andorid OS version(1.5). I got old version of Android, 1.5. There is reasonable not supporting that old version OS. But after I read the content of webpage of Skype Mobile for Android. The content sounds specifics for "Verizon", which is a US telco. So, I believe Skype Mobile for Android needs provider support as well. And so far, only "Verizon" supports that.

I just backed from the trip to Hong Kong. HTC Legend is released in there for around three weeks. I checked the price across a number of shops, it cosed HKD$4198. If AUD$1=HKD$7.1(which is the exchange rate when I was in Hong Kong), that is around AUD$591. That is still a bit expensive for myself. Moreover, this kind of technology products is very expensive at frist. After a little while, its price will drop rapidly! In addition, I got a HTC Magic with Sense UI, so far, I am happy about it. It got Android 1.5, which is still a standard version for Android app development. So, I will wait a little bit longer.....

So far, Skype has not a fully version for Android. I have tried Skype lite before. But that is just like a kind of IM only. I can't make a voice call via that directly. But there are some third party clients can do voice chat in Android. I tried one of them, Fring. It supports Skype(Well, it also supports MSN Messenger, ICQ, Google Talk, SIP and Twitter). However, there are some disadvantages. Firstly, you need to get a Fring account. I believe all skype calls need to go through it and they will hold your skype credential. Secondly, you cannot use SkypeOut and SkypeSMS too. But it is better than Skype Lite, at least I can call my friends who are online with a Skype account.

A long long time ago, VCR helped some people a lot. It allowed people to record the TV shows first and then re-play them later on. Not long ago, PVR was aimed to replace VCR. There was a digital era. We should record TV shows in a hard dish rather than video cassette tapes. Nowadays, most of television stations put their TV shows in their website. So, I don't think PVR is essential at all. If you want to watch a TV show again, you can play it from their website. Is PVR is outdated as well?

Nowadays, movies are in the 3D age. This monring, I found Google Street View of Australia can switch to 3D mode too! But it needs tradition read and blue 3D glasses. I tried the realD glasses ,which are used in the major 3D cinemas, cannot get it works!
